Michael & Donna

Michael is originally from Brooklyn, New York and Donna is from Des Moines, Iowa, but they met here in San Francisco. They were both living in a residential hotel at the time. Michael was having no luck with the women he was dating and Donna was going through a breakup with a boy friend. They basically rescued each other and fell in love. 

Eight years later, they are still as much in love as they were on the very first day. Michael said, “This is the best relationship I have ever had in my life.” They made their commitment here at LHH in the courtyard by the Koi pond next to administration with a wedding on July 30, 2008. Surrounded by friends, fellow residents, and staff, the pictures were snapping like crazy while the ceremony was officiated by two pastors. “The staff was just the best. Each of them contributed to our wedding and did something to make it all come together,” states Michael. There were flowers and decorations all done by staff. Michael and Donna looked wonderful in suits and ties. Staff broke into applause as they sealed the completion of the ceremony with a kiss. 

“Laguna Honda Hospital is the best place to get married,” they both agreed.
